About this Ministry
Discipleship at Community Bible Church is about fostering spiritual growth through authentic community, teaching, and mentorship. Whether connecting in groups or equipping others to follow Jesus, these ministries provide opportunities to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and live out the Gospel in every season of life.
Men's Ministries
Through Bible studies, Journey Groups, special events and social gatherings, Men’s ministries seek to connect, equip, and encourage, men in their life journey. As with Community Groups, when we align ourselves with others who desire to discover Jesus, grow and follow Him, we will discover the life-giving power of Biblical community.
Women's Ministries
Our Women’s Ministry exists to encourage and equip women to live lives devoted to following Jesus in every season of life. Through groups, studies, fellowship and relationships, we aim to deepen our relationship with Christ, one another, and the world around us for the sake of the gospel. Join us as we grow together in faith, building a community that reflects the love and grace of Jesus.
Community Group Facilitator
Community Groups are gatherings of 6-16 people (on average) that meet in homes. The goal is to study the Bible together, pray for each other, and build authentic Christian community. Community Groups offer a welcoming place to meet new friends, get connected to the church, and to grow in your relationship with Jesus.
Teaching Team
Teaching is one of the primary gifts given to the church for the building up of our faith in Jesus. Those who are called to teach must do so with a proper understanding of how to rightly divide God’s Word for the edification of the saints. This ministry has many venues: Groups, weekly Bible studies, mentoring, disciple-making, etc.
Community University
Community U is a student-led college ministry paired with Community Bible Church. This ministry is reaching the campus of High Point University as it equips students to follow Jesus and make disciples for a lifetime. While Community U is a student-led ministry, they are actively seeking mature Christ-followers at CBC willing to support their movement. There are opportunities to pray, give, serve, and mentor students.
