Where We'll Be.

Where We'll Be.

Baku is the capital and largest city of Azerbaijan, located on the western coast of the Caspian Sea, and is known for its mix of modern skyscrapers and historic architecture. The city and surrounding areas are predominantly Muslim, with many mosques. Baku has a semi-arid climate, and the temperatures will just be starting to cool down for Fall as we visit. While Baku is relatively prosperous, the surrounding areas experience poverty, with limited access to healthcare, education, and economic opportunities.
