What Idris & Gunay Do.
Idris and Gunay are first-generation believers in the country of Azerbaijan. In 1989 there were less than a handful of Christians in Azerbaijan - today there are over twenty THOUSAND evangelical Christians. Idris serves as an Executive Vice President with Crossover Global - an organization committed to planting healthy churches in parts of the world that have limited access to the Gospel. Idris and Gunay disciple many young believers and have the joy and responsibility of sharing the Gospel with entire towns and villages that have never heard it before. They have two children, Musa (son) and Banu (daughter).
How Can I Pray?
- Pray for the lost in Azerbaijan who have no way to hear about Christ's free gift of salvation.
- Pray for wisdom and stamina as Idris leads not only the team in Azerbaijan, but also serves in an international role with Crossover Global.
- Pray for the young believers that Idris and Gunay disciple in their church - that they would continue growing and being bold in their witness.
- Pray for the financial resources for their church to move into a larger building.
