'Love Your Neighbor' (LYN) is a team-based outreach ministry that provides opportunities for CBC attenders to meet their neighbors physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

How it works:

  1. Fill out the form. 
  2. Select the LYN teams you want to serve on. 
  3. Begin receiving text invitations to help with projects.
  4. Reply only if you're available.

FAQs

What type of help is needed? 

When you fill out the simple form to join the LYN team, you'll have the opportunity to sign up for sub-teams dedicated to specific types of help. You can sign up for as many sub-teams as you like. You'll only be contacted about the types of service opportunities you signed up for.
Sub-teams include:

  • Cleaning
  • Encouragement
  • Home Organization
  • Meals
  • Yard Work
  • Minor Repairs
  • Moving
  • Painting
  • Transportation
  • AND MORE! 

How will I know about opportunities?

After you sign up, you'll receive periodic text messages letting you know about opportunities to help. The text will include basic information about the service opportunity (who, what, where, when, etc.)

What if I'm too busy?

If you're too busy, just don't respond to the text! More opportunities will come.
