Missions at Community Bible Church embody the call to share the love of Christ locally and globally. Through service, outreach, prayer, and missionary support, these ministries seek to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples, meeting needs, and spreading the Gospel. Whether serving in our community or engaging with the nations, we are called to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a world in need.
The Local Missions team helps people grow in their relationship with Christ by serving in our local community. There are several ways you can serve in this ministry – with local ministry partners, church outreach events, or evangelism. The goal is always to share the love of Jesus Christ in practical ways, to be His hands and feet to the hurting and needy in our community.
The vision of the Global Mission Team is to fulfill the Great Commission around the world by empowering and strengthening national churches to share the Gospel, serve the nations and make disciples. We aim to accomplish this vision by training and equipping national leaders and pastors to rightly handle the Word, fostering healthy church plants, and taking the Gospel to unreached, unengaged areas of the world.
Each year, we have opportunity to send short term teams overseas to partner with what God is doing in the nations through our missionaries and Global Ministry Partners. Participants have the opportunity to embrace a culture different than their own and engage their faith by encouraging the Body of Believers around the world, sharing the Gospel with those who have never heard it.
