When Jesus called his first disciples, he said to them,
“Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
They didn’t know where the journey would take them. But they dropped their nets, left everything, and followed Jesus as he made them into fishers of men. At the end of his earthly ministry, Jesus clarified their mission. He said,
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
That’s where YOU come in.
Jesus’ call to follow him and fish for men is a call on YOUR life. Jesus’ call to make disciples of all nations is a call on YOUR life. You are called to know, love, and obey the God of the universe as you engage in his mission.
Community University exists to help college students do it.
Community U is a student-led disciple-making movement that desires to help college students at High Point University and surrounding colleges follow Jesus and fish for men.

Our Mission
When Jesus called his first disciples, he said to them, “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They dropped their nets, left everything, and followed Jesus. Those followers spent every moment together learning Jesus’ new way of living and being.
At the end of his ministry, Jesus commissioned his followers to fish for men by making disciples.
That’s the heartbeat of our mission.
We exist to magnify Jesus by making disciples among college students who advance the mission of God among all people.
Check-In
Your first time with us, we will ask for your child’s name, date of birth, address, phone number and any special needs. Your information is kept confidential in our church database.
Safety
Children and parents receive matching printed name tags and pick-up tags to ensure their safety in our environments. At the end of the service, each parent picking up a child must provide the pick-up tag to the door host.
All Community:Kids volunteers receive a background check and do not serve alone.
